H2020 ExtremeEarth: the crop type mapping problem

The H2020 ExtremeEarth project has concluded successfully, developing artificial intelligence techniques for the automatic analysis of remote sensing images. In the project RSLab had the leadership in the design and development of deep learning architectures for the Food Security use case.

Directly linked to the ExtremeEarth project, the H2020 AI4Copernicus project aims to solve real challenges of business and societal value through 4 open calls. RSLab has the leadership in the development of machine learning algorithms for the use of Earth Observation Copernicus data in agriculture, which are made available as bootstrapping services to the open calls winners.

More details on the RSLab achievement in ExtremeEarth are reported in an article on  UniTrentoMAG.
