Luca Bergamasco received the 2023 “Frank Marzano” award for the Best Italian PhD Theses on Geoscience and Remote Sensing by the Italian Chapter of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society.

The award was presented to the best three PhD Theses defended in the period June 2022 – May 2023. The title of the PhD Thesis is “Advanced deep-learning methods for automatic change detection and classification of multitemporal remote-sensing images” (Advisors: F. Bovolo, L. Bruzzone).
