Khatereh Meshkini received the 2024 “Frank Marzano” award for the Best Italian PhD Theses on Geoscience and Remote Sensing by the Italian Chapter of the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society.

The award was presented to the best three PhD Theses defended in the period June 2023 – May 2024. The title of the PhD Thesis is “Advanced Methods for Land Cover Mapping and Change Detection in High Resolution Satellite Image Time Series” (Advisors: F. Bovolo, L. Bruzzone).
