RSLab in the spotlight of climate change at ESA LPS

A full day game for the participants to the ESA Living Planet Symposium (about 5000 in this edition) held in Bonn the past week was centered on a land-cover map produced in the High Resolution Land Cover project coordinated by RSLab in the framework of the Climate Change Initiative of ESA.

Many game hosts wearing  T-shirts with printed the map stimulated the symposium partecipants to guess the location and the time of the map. The map represented an areas in Paraguay in 2019 with a strong deforestation pattern.  CCI High Resolution land-cover and land-cover change regional maps of Amazon, Africa Sahel and Siberia for the time frame 1990-2019 will be released in the summer. Join us if you are interested in more information on map availability.
