On Friday September 13, Aravind Harikumar defended his Phd thesis on “Advanced methods for tree species classification and biophysical parameter estimation using crown geometric information in high-density LiDAR data” (supervisor Francesca Bovolo) and Daniele Marinelli defended his Phd thesis on “Advanced Methods for Change Detection in LiDAR Data and Hyperspectral Images” (supervisor Lorenzo Bruzzone).

The committee awarded the PhD in Information and Communication Technology.
