{"id":4455,"date":"2020-09-23T10:48:44","date_gmt":"2020-09-23T08:48:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rslab.disi.unitn.it\/?p=4455"},"modified":"2020-09-23T10:48:44","modified_gmt":"2020-09-23T08:48:44","slug":"nasa-delivered-rf-elements-of-rime-for-final-integration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rslab.disi.unitn.it\/web\/nasa-delivered-rf-elements-of-rime-for-final-integration\/","title":{"rendered":"NASA delivered RF elements of RIME for final integration"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NASA&#8217;s Jet Propulsion Laboratory recently delivered the radio frequency subsystem of\u00a0 the Radar for Icy Moon Exploration (RIME, of which Lorenzo Bruzzone is the Principal Investigator) that will explore Jupiter&#8217;s icy moons Europa, Ganymede and Callistion onboard the ESA&#8217;s JUICE mission.<\/p>\n<p>JPL&#8217;s responsibility was to make and deliver the transmitter and receiver &#8211; the pieces that send out and pull in radio signals &#8211; as well as the electronics that help those pieces communicate with RIME&#8217;s antenna.
