PhD positions @RSLab 2021

RSLab is looking for strongly motivated candidatePhD students having excellent study career and interested in research activities on remote sensing, radar and related data analysis and/or applications to Earth Observation and Planetary Exploration. Interested candidates should apply to the call issued by the International PhD School in Information and Communication Technology of the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science of the University of Trento and accessible here. The RSLab positions are in the Area D (Curriculum 2: Telecommunications) and refer to the devlopment of research activites linked to remote sensing, radar and the the related data processing (e.g., artificial intelligence and machine learnign, data fusion, mutlidimensional image processing, etc). Moreover, the following scholarships for specific research projects are open:

  • D1 – Advanced methodologies for radar and radar sounder image processing (1 grant) » details
  • D2 – Remote sensing image time series analysis for climate change (1 grant) » details
  • D4 – Development of methodologies and automatic techniques based on artificial intelligence and machine learning for the analysis of data acquired by planetary radars (1 grant) » details

The deadline for applications is April 15, 2021, hrs. 04.00 PM (CEST).

Candidates can apply for a general position in the area D and/or apply also for one or more specific project scholarships following the indication in the call.
